Cannibal Recycling Company

Cannibal Recycling is a recycling company in Port Elizabeth that started in 2003 as a small business and has grown from only 30 Tons to 1000 Tons of glass monthly.

We have grown into a full on recycling business that has ventured into other products like: PET, Cardboard, LD Plastics, Cans and paper. With this growth we have increased our fleet to assist our customers in all recycling. We have opened a second branch in Queenstown and we now actively working in Queenstown and surrounding areas. We recycle glass, PET, Cardboard, LD Plastic, cans and paper. Cannibal Recycling also builds and manufactures recycling machinery and equipment in-house. This is to assist people in “under developed areas”.

What We Do

Plastic Recycling

We recycle PETE (polyethylene terephthalate), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LDPE (low-density polyethylene), PP (polypropylene).

Glass Recycling

We recycle all glass in bottle form, ranging from beer and wine bottles to household glass bottles such as tomato sauce bottles, etc.

We do not accept window glass or TV screens, bottled glass only.

Can Recycling

We recycle all food related metal cans (commonly known as “tin cans”). This includes soup cans, beer cans, fruit and vegetable cans, tuna/salmon/meat cans, juice cans, and metal coffee cans

Paper & Cardboard Recycling

All types of paper, paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes, frozen dinner boxes, 12-pack beverage containers, etc.), paper cartons (e.g., milk, OJ, juice box, soup/stock boxes) and cardboard boxes are recyclable.
